Candleholder Japanese Style

Here are some candleholders made by a friend of mine.
They were exposed in a temple during a Karahori Art Festival in a small area in Osaka. This area is a sort of a community-oriented neighborhood, so many old shops and active peopel are there.
Maybe the next year, you will visit this festival and see my friend's works!
If you want to see more of my friend's works, you will see ion a short while!!!

OKONOMIYAKI

Okonomiyaki is a Japanese savory pancake containing a variety of ingredients, cabbage, spring onion, pork, etc. The name is derived from the word okonomi, meaning "what you like" or "what you want", and yaki meaning "grilled" or "cooked" (cf. yakitori and yakisoba). Okonomiyaki is mainly associated here in Osaka, Japan. I love Okonomiyaki very much! Osaka women can’t live without Okonomiyaki. Would you like to try it when coming to Osaka?

FRUIT OF PLUM

In this season we see the fruits of plum in market every year. For long time, Japanese people eat the processed food of plum habitually. Citric Acid included in the fruit of plum give good effects for our body. Fatigue recovery, Fixing bowel good, Clean blood, Prevention of aging, etc.

Last year, we made pickled plum, plum health drink, and plum liquer from 6kgs of fruits for the first time. And I drunk the plum health drink as I caught cold the other day. (It is made from plum, vinegar, and maple syrup.) Now I am fine. The power that the plant lasts is wonderful !
